TaxTech NG is fully compliant with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
Overview
TaxTech NG follows all requirements of the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) to ensure your personal and financial data is handled responsibly.
Data Collection & Usage
TaxTech NG collects only the data necessary for tax filing and payment processing. This includes:
- Personal information (name, phone, email, address)
- Identification data (TIN, BVN, or Temporary ID)
- Income and deduction details (for Formal filers)
- Payment information (processed by Paystack/Flutterwave, not stored by TaxTech NG)
Data Security
All data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption during transmission and storage. TaxTech NG uses AWS Africa data centers to keep your data within Nigerian jurisdiction. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Your Rights Under NDPR
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored by TaxTech NG
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal record-keeping requirements)
- Withdraw consent for data processing (may affect service availability)
Important Notes
TaxTech NG retains tax filing records for 7 years to comply with Nigerian tax law. To exercise your NDPR rights, contact privacy@taxtechng.com.
