Resetting Your Password

If you've forgotten your TaxTech NG password or want to change it for security reasons, you can easily reset it using your registered email address.

How to Reset Your Password

Follow these steps to reset your password:

  1. Go to the TaxTech NG login page
  2. Click the 'Forgot Password?' link below the login form
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account
  4. Click 'Send Reset Link'
  5. Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder) for a password reset email
  6. Click the reset link in the email (valid for 24 hours)
  7. Enter and confirm your new password
  8. Log in with your new password

Password Requirements

Your new password must:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Include at least one uppercase letter
  • Include at least one lowercase letter
  • Include at least one number
  • Include at least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $)

Didn't Receive the Reset Email?

If you don't receive the password reset email within 10 minutes:

  • Check your spam/junk folder - the email may have been filtered
  • Verify your email address - ensure you entered the correct email
  • Wait and try again - sometimes email delivery can be delayed
  • Contact support@taxtechng.com if still not received after 1 hour

Security Best Practices

To keep your account secure:

  • Use a unique password that you don't use on other websites
  • Consider using a password manager to generate and store strong passwords
  • Change your password immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Never share your password with anyone
  • Don't use easily guessable information (birthdays, names, etc.)

After multiple failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked for security reasons. Wait 30 minutes and try again, or use the password reset process to regain access.
