Dashboard overview and filing status

Your TaxTech NG dashboard is your central hub for managing your 2026 tax filing and tracking its progress from start to completion.

Filing Status States

Your filing can be in one of four states:

  • Not Started: You haven't begun your 2026 filing yet
  • In Progress: You've started entering information but haven't submitted for payment
  • Awaiting Payment: You've completed your filing details and are ready to pay
  • Completed: Your payment has been verified and your filing is officially submitted to NRS

How the Dashboard Updates

The dashboard updates automatically after payment verification. For online payments (card, bank transfer, USSD), status changes to 'Completed' within minutes. For offline cash payments via Moniepoint, Paga, or OPay agents, status updates to 'Completed' within 24 hours maximum once the agent confirms your payment.

Key Dashboard Elements

Your dashboard displays your Payment Reference ID (format: TXNG-2026-XXXXXXX), calculated tax amount, payment status, and receipt download button once filing is complete. You can also resume draft filings or start a new filing from the dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit my filing after submission?

No. Once you submit for payment and complete the payment, your filing is locked. You can only edit while your filing is in 'In Progress' status. After payment, only NRS can make corrections.

How long does it take for my status to update after cash payment?

Offline cash payments are verified within 24 hours. The agent confirms your payment with the payment processor, and your dashboard status updates automatically once verification is complete.

What if my dashboard shows 'Awaiting Payment' but I already paid?

For online payments, this usually resolves within minutes. For cash payments, wait up to 24 hours. If the issue persists beyond 24 hours, contact support with your Payment Reference ID.
