My offline cash payment is still 'Pending Verification'
Offline cash payments are verified within 24 hours of agent confirmation.
Overview
When you pay cash at a Moniepoint, Paga, or OPay agent, your payment must be manually verified by TaxTech NG before your filing is marked Completed.
How Verification Works
After you pay cash and the agent confirms your Payment Reference ID (TXNG-2026-XXXXXXX), the agent's system sends a confirmation to TaxTech NG. TaxTech NG verifies the payment against your filing record and updates your status within 24 hours.
If More Than 24 Hours Have Passed
If your payment is still 'Pending Verification' after 24 hours:
- Check that you paid at an authorized agent (Moniepoint, Paga, or OPay only)
- Verify that you provided the correct Payment Reference ID to the agent
- Make sure you paid the exact amount shown on your TaxTech NG filing
- Contact support@taxtechng.com with your Reference ID and payment details
What to Provide to Support
When contacting support, include:
- Your Payment Reference ID (TXNG-2026-XXXXXXX)
- The agent location and agent name (if possible)
- The date and time you made the payment
- Any receipt or confirmation code from the agent
Important Notes
TaxTech NG cannot verify payments made at non-partner locations. Only payments through Moniepoint, Paga, or OPay agents are supported.
