Payment Not Showing Up
If you've completed a payment but don't see it reflected in your TaxTech NG dashboard, there are several reasons this might happen and steps you can take to resolve it.
Common Reasons for Delayed Payment Confirmation
Payment delays can occur for different reasons depending on your payment method:
- Online Payments (Paystack/Flutterwave): Typically process within minutes, but may take up to 2 hours during high network traffic or banking system maintenance
- Offline Cash Payments (Moniepoint/Paga/OPay): Require manual verification and typically take 1-3 business days to reflect in your dashboard
What to Do for Online Payments
Follow these steps if your online payment hasn't appeared:
- Wait 2 hours - Most online payment delays resolve within this timeframe
- Check your email - Look for a payment confirmation from Paystack or Flutterwave
- Refresh your dashboard - Log out and log back in to force a data refresh
- Check your bank statement - Verify the payment was deducted from your account
What to Do for Offline Cash Payments
For cash payments through partner agents:
- Keep your receipt - The agent should have provided a payment receipt with a reference number
- Wait 1-3 business days - This is the standard verification period
- Check your email - You'll receive a notification once verification is complete

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be charged twice if my payment doesn't show up?
No. If a payment fails to process, the deducted amount will be automatically refunded by your bank within 3-5 business days. You will not be charged twice.
Can I make another payment while waiting for the first one to appear?
We recommend waiting for your first payment to process before attempting another payment to avoid potential double-charging issues.
